Why Not Both? Update - v1.1

Hello readers!

We wanted to share an update on what we’ve been working on as Why Not Both? approaches its first anniversary. As mentioned previously, we’re planning to release Version 1.1, which will include the following new features:

• Full Voice Acting: Every scene will be fully voiced by our seven main actors, plus a few others playing smaller roles.

• New Epilogue: A brand-new three-scene epilogue will be added to the Extras menu once the main story has been completed.

• Multi-narration Choices: 20 of the original 50 scenes will begin with a ‘Select Your Narrator’ screen, allowing readers to choose which character’s perspective they want to experience the scene through.

• Presentation Change: Additional camera movement will be added across most scenes for more cinematic impact, along with some other visual effects. More Save Slots: 8 new save slots will be added.

• NSFW Content Restructure: All NSFW content will be removed from the base novel. It will be available separately as a free DLC.

• Other Features: We will be adding several small enhancements, including a permille progress tracker and new extras.

The expected release date for Version 1.1 is by the end of the year. We’re primarily waiting for the voice actors to work their magic, which takes time, but we want to make sure we get it right rather than rush the process.
