What inspired Love vs Lust (LvsL)?

We are adult visual novel lovers! The storytelling elements, the lewd renders, everything about them! So we wanted to put everything we liked into our very own adult visual novel Love vs Lust (LvsL).

We wanted to tell a story of someone who can have the most beautiful women and live a unique lifestyle that others may envy. But he is still yearning for one true thing: the love of his life, someone he can deeply connect with. However, to reach her, he must confront the sins of his past. To tell this story, we drew inspiration from several exciting visual novels. Here is the list of adult visual novels that inspired us:

Depraved Awakening: What’s not to love about a good old detective mystery? We enjoy the simple mechanics and animations. It’s not as flashy, but it’s incredibly intriguing. Kept the animation simple in LvsL because of this game.

Fetish Locator: The sexual fetishes and kinky stuff in LvsL are inspired by this one. It is a lot of fun and wild. Very unique and enjoyable to play.

Summer with Mia: Who said linear storytelling cannot be fun with a nice turn of events!? We were convinced that one canonical main linear story mixed with choice-specific events can work because of this game.

Being a Dik: We’ve played over 120 hours of this game. It has everything, an intriguing story, action-packed moments, plenty of activities and depth, gorgeous women, and beautiful animations. What’s not to love? We could never capture its magic, but it definitely sparked our creativity to make LvsL.
