v0.2504.0S UPDATE – DOUBLE TROUBLE

18/12/2025 · Sale · Loverse

This update marks a big milestone for Loverse. Lucy and Eve were among the very first characters ever designed for the game, and after a long time of build-up, side interactions, and separate encounters… things finally collide.

Literally.

This patch focuses on pushing character dynamics forward, tightening story continuity, and setting the stage for much larger things to come.

STORY

NEW EVENT CONTENT
Lucy and Eve take center stage in a brand-new scene that brings their long-teased dynamic to its next logical step. If you’ve been following their paths from early on, this moment is meant to feel like a payoff rather than a surprise.

ALICE & THE ADMIN – STORY PROGRESSION
The mystery surrounding Alice deepens with a substantial new story segment involving the Admin. This isn’t just flavor text — it’s a meaningful push forward for Loverse’s underlying narrative, hinting at power structures, control, and consequences that will matter later on.

CONTINUITY PASS
Several older dialogue flags and conditional checks were adjusted so character reactions better reflect what you’ve already experienced. Fewer “wait, didn’t this already happen?” moments.

GAMEPLAY & SYSTEMS

SAVE COMPATIBILITY IMPROVEMENTS
A lot of behind-the-scenes work went into making saves more resilient as the game grows. While no system is ever perfect, this update should reduce edge cases where older saves behave oddly after new content is added.

EVENT FLOW TWEAKS
Some events now unlock more cleanly based on progress instead of relying on overly strict conditions. This should make playthroughs feel smoother and more intuitive.

BUG FIXES (THE FUNNY KIND)
  • Fixed an issue where Lucy could appear way too calm while the scene around her was clearly escalating beyond reason.

  • Resolved a bug where Eve would occasionally act like she had already met someone she definitely hadn’t… yet.

  • Fixed a rare but impressive issue where time of day seemed to stop mattering entirely, allowing events to happen in what can only be described as “narrative limbo.”

MISC
  • Minor UI polish in a few menus.

  • Small text cleanup and typo fixes across multiple events.

  • Internal prep work for upcoming content (you won’t see it yet, but it’s there).

NOTE:
While this update includes improvements aimed at save stability, older saves can always behave unpredictably in a game that’s still actively evolving. Most should work just fine — but if something feels off, a fresh run is the safest option.

To top it off, a discount will be going live shortly after this update, so if you’ve been waiting to jump in — or want to recommend the game to someone — keep an eye out.

And finally: this is still just the beginning.
I’m only getting started.
