To address a recent misunderstanding

I wanted to address a recent misunderstanding about the DLC and its development in relation to the main game.

Despite my saying multiple times that the DLC was not created at the expense of the main game, some players still seem to believe it was.

Some people in the community are already aware that I have an occasional helper. They cannot offer regular support or large amounts of time, but they assist when they can. I haven't made a big announcement about this before because I am primarily a solo developer and didn't want anyone to assume the project had a larger team or that development capacity had changed.

Because their schedule does not allow for consistent involvement, it can be difficult to find tasks for them that I would not be quicker to do myself. This is where the DLC came in. It was something they could work on separately without affecting the main game, and something players had been asking for. And since it could be developed independently, it did not divert my development time or attention from the main game.

The negative response has been disappointing, especially when this was designed as optional content for those who wanted it. I also want to remind everyone that feedback is welcome, but personal attacks, whether directed at me or anyone in the community, will not be tolerated.

My focus remains on the main game, and the side content exists for the players who requested it.
