Switching to Free to Play
Hello players,
First, I would like to immensely thank all of those who have shown this game support, both in my personal life and by purchasing the game.
If you have purchased the game and are still within Steam's refund period, feel free to submit for one (I have no control over whether or not refunds are issued, unfortunately. It is up to Steam.)
The game is currently free at https://mothonmars.itch.io/the-andere-realm-a-flicker-of-lust, but due to Steam's one week requirement to switch to free to play, this process will take until 12/10/24 (at the earliest -- I am filing the switch with Steam support).
Lastly, I would like to apologize who felt cheated by my work. Over 1,000 hours went into this game, as I wanted to create something that would outlive me in a genre I felt very passionate about after a rather large medical scare. I felt very emotionally attached to the older engine, as well as the world that I had created, and I understand that I failed to bring the expected level of quality to the game.
I will be taking a rather large step back from development, but any work to be released someday, you can find it at https://mothonmars.itch.io
Thank you.
