Progress Report #206 - April 2026

Greetings!

No slowdowns this week, with the next update steadily forming around a multitude of check list and tasks. As always, let's start with the artistic updates:

---🎨----

  • The frontier of production expands. Our first concept art pass at the next planet has been completed!

  • Planet X is shaping up to feature a fresh visual identity, with unique dungeon elements that will challenge both players and Caly in vividly new ways.

  • Based on player feedback, new blaster mods and attachments are currently being sketched and engineered. Afterall, the right tool always makes the difference!

  • Concept work has begun on the Henosis Casino scene. Hint: Caly is the jackpot this time around 🙂

  • Introduction sequence for Planet X has been fully edited and finalized.

  • Continued development of interactions and points of interest across the first set of dungeon rooms. The culture of this new environment will stand in stark contrast to the Orcs encountered in the Orc Vessel Dungeon.

  • Reviewing feedback from boss and trash encounters across the entire game to brainstorm new combat skills.

  • Backend implementation in progress for new elemental and gameplay systems aimed at improving combat style and flow.

  • Early groundwork has begun, laying the foundation for systems and features coming in the next update.
