Planned improvements for Part 1
Hey everyone, here's some news about planned improvements for Part 1 of the game! :)

As you might already know, Part 2 of the game will be released in Early Access in May, with the first 3 episodes of content available at launch (Episodes 10-12)! If you missed it, here's the store page for Part 2. Make sure to add it to your wishlist to follow the development and news! :)
Anyway, before Part 2 releases in May, I want to make some improvements to Part 1. I don't want to fall into the trap of reworking old content before the game is finished, but it's pretty evident that some of the early content in Part 1 is very dated, as I started working on the game at the end of 2021, and I was very much learning as I went. Some players get turned off by the quality at the beginning of the game and never give it a chance, so making some improvements before Part 2 releases is probably a good call.

So, what can you expect? I'm going to remake the worst renders of the early episodes, mainly the ones that are way oversaturated. Additionally, I'm going to remake some of the early animations - definitely the ones in Episode 1, and most likely some of the ones in Episodes 2 & 3 as well. There will also be some changes to the writing in Episode 1 - I'll add more choices during the dialogues. They can't change too much to avoid messing with people's saves, but they should provide some sense of player agency at the start of the game. There will also be some technical changes, such as ensuring all animations work as in the latest episodes (so dialogues can be displayed during animations, etc.). Overall, I hope the changes will make sure more players give the game a chance when Part 2 releases.

When can you expect the patch with improvements to come out? Definitely before Part 2 releases in May, but it's difficult to give an exact date. Most likely, the patch will be ready in April.
Anyway, that's all for this post. Make sure to follow Part 2 to get notified when it releases :) Thank you so much for reading and playing the game, I hope you're all doing well,
