Here's a summary of everything that's been done for the game this month:
✦ A Character Profile page has been added with a short introduction from the character's perspective.
✦ The Race, Elemental Affinity, Nature, and Blessings pages have been added. (All of these options offer both an improvement and, occasionally, a disadvantage.)
✦ A system has been added to Equip Skills before combat. (This was done to avoid cluttering the combat screen and having endless lists of skills to select from.)
✦ The number of Skills that can be Equipped simultaneously per level has been limited to 1 through 3.
✦ A system has been added to Master Skills based on usage.
✦ A system has been added where New Skills can be Learned based on level or purchased from Basth at the Temple.
✦ Simple descriptions have been added for Magic Skills and their Effects.
✦ Three Magic Spells of levels 1, 2, and 3 have been added for each element.
Water: Water Jet, Water Whip, Water Torrent
Fire: Burning Ashes, Fireball, Pillar of Fire
Wind: Cutting Blast, Tornado, Cutting Cyclone
Earth: Earth Spike, Quicksand, Earthquake
Thunder: Discharge, Static, Lightning
Ice: Frost, Fog, Gelid Nova
Light: Blessing, Invigorating Aura, Divine Flash
Darkness: Shadow Slash, Claws of Darkness, Deep Darkness
✦ 13 New Combo attacks and a combo system have been added. (Magic skills can be combined in any order, if they are the skills used to generate one of these 13 new attacks.)
✦ Combinations: Burning Splash, Fire Tornado, Lava, Mudslide, Blizzard, Static Nova, Divine Light, Storm, Shadow Fog, Paralyzing Claws, Spear of Darkness, Divine Water, Mantle of Purity
✦ Sets Bonus for Equip have been added.
✦ The Vigor system has been added. (Allowing multiple attacks in a single turn to generate combo attacks or risk everything on a single attack.)
✦ A random system has been added where enemies' levels vary proportionally to the number of team members.
✦ Elemental Resistances and Weaknesses have been added to enemies and allies in the game.
✦ A simple Bestiary has been added to show the HP, resistance, and weaknesses of enemies.
✦ A system has been added to view enemy HP bars after defeating them. (This is activated in the options menu.)
✦ The Enemy Chase system has been added. (As shown in the video, some enemies, especially the stronger ones, will chase you around the map if you enter their 3-block line of sight.)
✦ Combat Transitions have been improved.
(Note : All game interfaces are replaced with a custom one at the end.)
With this, I'm wrapping up the combat section for now and starting on improving the game map. I hope to be a bit more rested and creative during this phase, as reviewing so much code was exhausting. I hope to have everything ready for the beta by the end of next month, but I'm not making any promises. There are many new systems added, and something could go wrong. Even so, I'll try to have an open beta to identify any bugs that might arise.
