Nanowish expansion preview

15/04/2026 · Release · The Demon Rush: Legends Corrupt

The Nanowish expansion has its content completed and is far along in terms of testing and balancing. A preview video for the Nanowish expansion is available on YouTube here.

The preview video covers the new content that will be added with the Nanowish expansion (most of which is story-heavy content), and the main features are as follows:

  • The final playable character, Subwoofer, a reality-denying criminal with a very heavy focus on status ailments and warping, will be playable in all modes.
  • A new story arc in a new world will be added to Story Mode, with its own main questline, story-based side quests (which mostly has story passives as rewards) and an optional superdungeon.
  • 5 new Side Stories will be added, for a total of 30 Side Stories when Nanowish releases.
  • The final recruitable Conquest Monsters will be available in Conquest Mode, for a total of 6 monster choices per element.
  • 5 Nanowish Challenges will also be added to Story Mode, which includes the very brutal "The True Most Evil Battle Ever", and they make up the final Crystal Arena Challenges for The Demon Rush: Legends Corrupt.

As per usual, there is a possibility that some of what's been included in these news posts and the preview video could be changed before release if testing or balance work requires changes.

The next update for the Nanowish expansion will likely end up being its release, and that could be very soon. I would LIKE to estimate that it could be a matter of weeks to release, as there is very little left to work on -- mainly balance testing for Subwoofer in Prison Break/Counterintelligence and balance testing for The True Most Evil Battle Ever. However, as game design can have a lot of things go wrong (and a lot of issues that seem like they should take 5 minutes, but instead take 5 hours), this is not set in stone, but is the current sentiment based on how much I've got done and how much/what is left.
