Jugs Bay: Cabaret & Hugs 'n Kisses Update

This update adds several new Cabaret shows you can attend by buying tickets, along with new slice-of-life interactions for Nora and Hitomi at their homes and workplaces once you’ve reached Lover status.

The goal with this update was to add more depth to those relationships after the main endgame content and make that stage of the game feel more alive.

We also made several under-the-hood improvements:

• Phone > Contacts has been overhauled to better reflect each romanceable character’s relationship status and presentation.

  

• The audio system has been reworked to behave more reliably across different Windows audio drivers, while also improving compatibility for Steam Deck / Proton players.

• The Quest Log now includes a memory guard to help prevent older quest hints from overwriting newer progress.

• Fixed a bug where typing in in-game name fields could trigger keyboard shortcuts instead of staying in the text field.

• Fixed quest markers on the map so objectives in sublocations can still show correctly on the main location.

We're actively developing our new game set around a cozy winter resort in Lapland, Finland.

This time the game features:
- Two playable main characters (female and male)
- Multiple storylines
- Several romanceable characters
- A large cast of side characters to spend a good time with.
- Fully voiced characters

Now, bare in mind that everything I'm going to show you is very much still a work in progress. None of this is final and it's all still subject to change.

You already know that Tunturi Lumi is set in Lapland and that means plenty of snow and ice of course. We are of course also trying to bring that into the gameplay, but I won't spoil any of that yet. For now here's a little test we did to make use of parallax displacement for use in a minigame.

Just like with Jugs Bay we plan to have plenty of gameplay components that go far beyond the basic Visual Novel formula.

Voice Acting?! You read correctly! Tunturi Lumi is gonna be fully voice acted. Here's just a little appetizer for you:

I know, you probably expected lots of snow now, right? And that wasn't even Finland, but I can assure you it's ALMOST as cold out there!

Finally, while Tunturi Lumi won't be coming to early access on Steam this time, we are still going to be distributing occasional updates via Patreon. So make sure to stick around for those!

We plan to start things of with a Demo version which is in the works right now. Unfortunately I cannot give you a release date yet, but you are in just the right place to be among the first to hear about it!
