Horos: Magnifica - release date and more

20/03/2026 · Release · HOROS - Web of Shadows

I’m incredibly proud of how development is shaping up. The game has taken a big leap forward, and the overall experience now feels far more cinematic than before. Subtle animations bring each scene to life, adding movement, depth, and personality across the entire world.

On top of that, we’ve significantly improved the visual quality. Higher resolution assets and enhanced image detail give everything a richer, more immersive atmosphere. The difference is something you’ll notice immediately, whether it’s characters, environments, or lighting.

We’ve also prepared a special surprise for the new content. The long-awaited Captain Whitebones quest is finally here, reworked and presented the way this legendary skeletal captain truly deserves. Expect a more refined, memorable experience with him at the center.

This update is also a major expansion in terms of scale. The game has grown from around 4GB to nearly 12GB, reflecting all the new content, upgraded visuals, and technical improvements added along the way.

Additionally, new adult animations have been introduced, featuring much more advanced physics and fluid simulation. These systems bring a new level of realism and smoothness that significantly enhances the overall experience.

We’re also expanding language support to reach more players around the world. The game is planned to include the following translations:

  • French

  • Polish

  • Italian

  • German

  • Spanish

  • Russian

  • Simplified Chinese

  • Turkish

  • Portuguese

Over the next week, I’ll be focusing on implementing translations, optimizations, and final beta testing to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

The release is planned for April 3rd. And just a quick reminder, this update will be completely free for everyone who has already welcomed HOROS into their Steam library.
