Episode 11: Preview

24/03/2026 · Release · Shut Up and Dance: Special Edition

Hey guys!

Megan’s scene is in progress, and the plan for last week is completed. The setup and all dialogue parts are done, and now I’m moving on to the animated section. I’ll try to finish it this week, give or take a few days, and then move on to the special scene. Which basically means this devlog is one of the last ones, and the release is just around the corner!

I also decided to add more small but juicy details to Megan’s scene, bringing in some extra ZBrush magic. I'm talking about things like that body pressure effect and tighter top fabric in the preview images. I think it really makes a difference and helps the visuals feel more alive and engaging. Altogether, it creates a very intimate atmosphere and works nicely as a contrast to the previous Violet sequence. I really can’t wait to show it all to you and hope you’ll like the final result!

And a quick note about the release, since I’ve been getting more questions about it. I know I previously mentioned March as a target, but considering the remaining work and coding, the release will realistically be in April. The good news is that it shouldn’t slip any further than that. I’m doing my best to wrap everything up as quickly as possible, optimizing the script where I can without hurting the experience and using every trick I know to speed up the rendering process. But the overall scope of this update is just massive. It’s already almost twice the size of the previous release, and so far it has actually taken less time than Episode 10 Chapter 2.

Sorry if you were hoping for a March release, that was a miscalculation on my side. But once again, we’re very close now, and April is the final target.

That’s it for now, guys. Stay tuned, and I’ll talk to you soon!
