DEVLOG 6: NEXTFEST RESULTS + UPDATING THE INTERFACE ✨

Hey everyone! It’s Nick — your friendly neighbor and manager of a demonic resort. Did you miss me? Right after Next Fest, we wrote Devlog 6, where we share the survey results, key takeaways, and the changes we’re already implementing in the game.

We received 100 responses to our Google form, which could be filled out after playing the demo. Thank you so much! We’re especially glad that you enjoyed the art and animations – the team definitely deserves some well-earned praise 🥰

But there’s still room for improvement. Our main focus is making the combat system clearer. You pointed out some interface issues: buffs and debuffs are hard to read, sometimes there’s too much information, and more. We’ll also be reworking the tutorial so it explains combat more effectively ❤️
Updating the interface
We’ve already started reworking the UI and are testing different options. We’re experimenting with new color schemes and have added some cute chibis, as we want to make the interface more expressive while keeping it user-friendly ✨
