Dev Update #15

The next update for Rebel Duet (v0.15) is still relatively early in development, but it's already shaping up into one that I think a lot of players will enjoy.

This update will contain two main parts: the climax of Act 3, and the beginning of Act 4.

The start of Act 4 introduces several new characters, including the game's first dark elf. Though I'm still working out the full extent of their roles in the story, I'm considering the dark elf joining as a potential ally.

So far, all the MC's combat-ready friends have been women, so adding one guy to the ranks should make the party dynamics more interesting. As a side note, it could also give the female MC an option for a male love interest, which will likely appeal to some players.

We also get to see Valerie passed out in bed, hungover from the previous night. It seems she went a little overboard with her drinking at the tavern, much to the MC's embarrassment...

This update will also build up towards a number of events that will follow in v0.16, such as a threesome with Valerie and Rena, the second Lucius sharing scene, and romance with Ann & Ellania.

Overall, this update should have more broad appeal than the last one, since there's a solid variety in content. I expected some mixed reactions to the v0.14 release since it was very much a story-focused update, but it seems to have been received pretty well by most players.
