Demo Update — Content Revision, Hint System & Bug Fixes

Hey everyone,

A new update for the Tenebris Legion Demo is now live. Here's a breakdown of what changed and, more importantly, why.

Content Revision: Removing the Futa Sequence

The most significant change in this update is the removal and replacement of a scene involving futa content. I want to be transparent about the reasoning behind this decision.

That sequence wasn't a mistake in itself — it was something I added because I found the idea interesting at the time. The problem is that I didn't think through the implications: one isolated scene was enough to create the impression that futa content is a recurring part of the game, when it never was and never will be. That's not fair to players on either end — those who came in expecting more of it, or those who stayed away because of it.

The scene has been replaced with content that better reflects the game's actual themes. And there's a silver lining to this change: the demon figure in the story had originally been written with very little sexual content — partly because of the creative direction the game had drifted into. With that corrected, I now have room to develop that side of things further. The sexual dynamic between Ethan and the demon will be more prominent than I originally planned.

This update is also a good opportunity to be upfront about the two core themes that run through Tenebris Legion: femdom and impregnation. The latter is more of a background thread, but it's woven into the story in ways that matter. If those aren't your thing, better to know now. If they are — you're in the right place.

Hint System

The hint system is now available in the demo. You can access it by opening your inventory with Left Ctrl and clicking on the notebook inside.

Each puzzle offers up to three hints, and they're designed to be progressive — the first hint gives you a nudge in the right direction without giving anything away, the second narrows things down a bit more, and the third one is direct enough to get you unstuck if you're truly lost. The idea is to respect your intelligence first, and only hand over the answer if you really need it.

In the full game, hints may come at a cost — still figuring out the details on that. But in the demo, they're completely free, so don't hesitate to use them.

Bug Fixes

I also took this opportunity to fix a number of issues that had been reported. Nothing dramatic, but the experience should feel a bit smoother overall.

Thank you for your support — it genuinely means a lot. I hope the reasoning behind this update makes sense. Tenebris Legion has a clear identity, and I want to make sure the demo reflects that from the start.
Enjoy the update, and as always, if you run into anything drop it in the discussion board.
