Day One Update and Patches

Hey everyone! Thanks so much for playing and reporting bugs. Here's what I've fixed based on your feedback:

Bug Fixes

Combat & Progression

  • Fixed battle state not clearing after defeat, which caused the "cannot save during battle" error when returning to the inn
    Also removed saving from any point. Now you can only save from save locations such as after bosses or in specific areas. This is to increase the difficulty of the game. Adjustments may be needed, so please let me know your thoughts in the community!

  • Fixed level drain calculation displaying incorrect amounts (e.g., showing "6 levels lost" but draining you to level 1)

  • Fixed crash when Trojan Succubus steals items during defeat sequence

SP System Overhaul

  • SP now persists between battles instead of resetting to full

  • SP only restores when you Rest & Save at the inn or save terminals

  • Makes SP management more strategic and items like SP Tonics more valuable

Temptation Mechanics

  • Fixed temptation not carrying over from exploration into battles

  • Cave trap chests now properly apply temptation that affects your next fight

Forest Exploration

  • Fixed encounter balancing

  • Removed "Explore (Careful)" option - simplified to just "Explore"

  • Forest exploration now always available, even after discovering the cave

Cave Balance

  • Fixed exploit allowing infinite gold/potion farming from the "DANGER" path chest

  • Chest can now only be looted once per run
