Climax System
NOTE: Sombionic remains a SFW game, that will support a free DLC that unlocks extra content!
The Climax System allows any character in Sombionic to reach a climactic state during certain animations or scenes. Once the character reaches their climax threshold, the player has an option to transition to a special animation, which contains “Climax” and “After-Climax (resting)” animations. Then go back to the other animations as normally. Special mini games will be introduced in the future for the climax animations, for example to press the button during a certain time and cause more intense climax.
This system is directly to multiple layers of the gameplay system:
Visual Feedback: VFX systems are activated based on preset particle keys and specific pivots on the body model. Those VFXs are basically trails of fluids.
Audio Events: Sound effects are triggered to provide organic sounds tied to the character’s climax style.
Decals (Experimental): When the fluids land on the character, they will leave decals (for example on the face / torso etc..).

Game Consequences: Climaxing results in the release of semen, which is then used for downstream systems like fertility checks, pregnancy logic and so on depending on where the semen is released.
Animations (To be added): Those will be tiny (layered) animations triggered during climax. These include actions like mouth opening, eye closing or a head tilt backward for a short period of time.
Heat System (Cooldown)
The Climax system needed a way to prevent players from spamming the button while still making the gameplay feel satisfying. Just using static cooldowns felt too rigid after a few days of testing, because the goal is to allow players to climax 3-4 times quickly and then have the cooldown gradually increase the more they use it.
Each press now generates Heat. The higher your Heat, the longer the cooldown becomes.
Heat decays over time, especially if you stop pressing after about 6 seconds of inactivity, it fully resets.
The cooldown scaling is non-linear, so early presses feel fast (0.25s, 0.65s, 1s), but it ramps up with abuse (2s, 4s, 8s, up to a ~20s max). After testing, those values might be balanced.
There’s also a small random chance a press won’t increase Heat at all, which adds unpredictability and lets you sometimes squeeze in extra uses.
You can’t spam, but you’re rewarded for timing and restraint.
Stats
Once a player enters a Climax Animation Scene, a new dedicated UI will appear just below the existing animation controls. This new interface is specifically designed for managing climax.
Each character involved in the scene will have their own Climax Button, allowing players to trigger their finishers individually.
In addition to the buttons, the UI will display important climax-related stats, such as:
Seed Amount: how much was produced during the climax.
Seed Quality: a value representing potency, consistency, or purity (depending on context).
