An Update on the Future
Hello players,
The outreach and support I received after announcing free to play was both inspiring and moving.
However, I have decided to meet each stance -- both positive and negative -- in the middle. The game will remain free on Itch.io, and Steam will provide players an opportunity to buy the "support" version, for which a future update will be coming. This content update will provide those who financially supported the game additional content as a thank you
Free players are so, so are important to me as well, so while I deeply appreciate those who insisted I poise myself to have financial support, I am choosing to make that an entirely willing process.
To those who have purchased the Steam version and enjoyed themselves:
Rest assured, I have something special planned for you in-game with a coming update.
As for the future, I intend to undertake a journey in which I learn to draw and animate myself, as commissioning artwork can only get me so far on a limited budget. I will continue to support freelance artists as I always have, but it's clear that I need to be the change that people are requesting to see as well. I will be posting updates on my humble beginnings of an art journey, so I invite you to point and laugh along with me as I go from busted doodles to, hopefully, art that improves my projects forever.
More updates and projects to come, especially now that I have received so many kind messages. Thank you.
A dream of making games is no dream at all without people to play them.
Thank you and see you soon.
