Alderian News! (2/23/2026)

As a small side note before we begin. I don't know if Steam users prefer this style where I'm trying to give more regular news updates but there's less to talk about or if you prefer me to post most substantial things. But hopefully being more proactive should help avoid further issues.

Things are going well on the latest update. We're still just collecting BGs, sprites, assets and other things. We're also looking into more stuff to hopefully make the world feel more engaging or improve the over QOL experience. We're still on course to release the next update the end of March.

I am aiming to add two big side quests but depending how tight the schedule gets the second side quest may get pushed onto the next update for May.

One of those things we are working on is shops behaving more dynamically:-

1.) Some now refuse to buy certain items outright. No more sell Raza to your local library.

2.) We aim to have shops selling different rates for certain items, I.e, the blacksmith will give you a much better rate for ores than say, trying to sell it in the general store as well as stocks within the stores rotating in and out different items.

Hopefully this should produce some interesting results.

We're also looking into some cool other things but I can't really talk much about them yet till we're ready!
