📢 A Note About Future Releases on Steam

Hi everyone,

First off – thank you so much for the amazing support since the release of Jessica’s Choices – Origins. The feedback and encouragement has meant the world, and it’s keeping me motivated to keep building this story out further.

I want to be open with you about something that’s recently come to light regarding Steam’s publishing rules. It looks like Steam has made changes that directly affect how developers of adult/mature-themed games can release content.

🔹 Early Access is no longer available for games with adult/mature content – meaning episodic releases (where one part is released now and later parts follow) are being rejected by Steam.
🔹 This also means I won’t be able to use the old “episodic” style of releases to get new content out to you quickly.
🔹 Steam’s path forward for these kinds of games seems to be either:

• releasing a fully completed game, or

• adding additional content later as DLC updates.

What this means for Jessica’s Choices:

• The first release is already live and will stay available everywhere at the moment.

• I still plan to release future content on Steam, but I may have to adjust how and when it gets delivered so that it fits within these new rules.

• My goal is to continue telling Jessica’s story — just know that the release format may be different than originally planned.

I’ll keep you all updated as I learn more. For now, please know I’m committed to finishing the story and making sure you get to experience it — whether that’s through Steam (as DLC/updates) or potentially other distribution options if needed.
