10 years of One Night Stand!

24/03/2026 · Release

Today marks 10 years since One Night Stand was first released into the world!

To celebrate, here’s a brand new animation:

I cannot believe it’s already been 10 years since I finished the Nanoreno game jam version and uploaded it...

After a couple of days, One Night Stand gained a ton of coverage; from traditional press to popular Youtubers, including Pewdiepie, Squeezie, Jacksepticeye and Markiplier! I hadn’t even reached out to anyone (plus the game was full of bugs!) yet it was a time I’ll never forget. Back in 2016, you could actually release an indie game with no PR or marketing budget and it could take off! Things have change a lot since then.

My first art tests for One Night Stand.

On October 20th 2016, the full version of One Night Stand released on https://games.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=9207b9359f63f6aab834705fe&id=c70258dcd9&e=7517e2d9f3, shortly followed by Steam[games.us3.list-manage.com] on November 7th. The full version fixed a lot of bugs, improved the animations, added double the amount of endings, plus more artwork, items and music. Around this time, I also began localising the game into several languages. Today, One Night Stand is playable in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese.

Then, in October 2019, One Night Stand released on consoles, thanks to the help of Ratalaika Games[games.us3.list-manage.com]. What was meant to be a simple one month game jam project ended up becoming my foundation as an independent game developer.

I’m extremely grateful to One Night Stand and all the fans for letting me continue on this journey – Here’s to another 10 years!

Enjoy 66% off One Night Stand until March 26th!
