Melancholy Date is a unique combination of a match-3 puzzle game and a visual novel, allowing you to both challenge your puzzle-solving skills and connect with the main character, Maxine. With beautiful visuals and a relaxing soundtrack, Melancholy Date is a personal and intimate experience that invites you to step into her world and see it through her eyes as she is trying to find love. Fight your inner demons and find your lost self-confidence as you match tokens representing your thoughts and fears!

Gameplay:
Match gems of the same color to progress through levels and uncover the story. The game is divided into multiple chapters and each chapter has a few match 3 levels with increasing difficulty. There is also a tutorial level explaining the mechanics. After solving a level, you unlock an image - discover hidden scenes from Maxine's life as you progress through the game. You can find these images later in the gallery. The difficulty of the game is challenging, yet not hard. It is the perfect difficulty for anyone to enjoy the story and immerse themselves in the puzzle!
